Due to the current pandemic and school policy, there will be new rules enforced to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

 

Before every lesson:

• All teachers are double vaccinated but will complete a Rapid Antigen Test within 24hrs prior to the lesson. In the event of a positive test, the teacher will self isolate and will not attend.

• Junior Class: Students should wait outside at the gate with their parents. At 1:55pm, the teacher will bring them into class.

• Senior Class: Students should wait outside at the gates. At 12:55pm, please walk into class.

• When entering the class, students will be required to wash their hands for 20seconds before entering the classroom.

• The dance floor will be disinfected before usage.

• Shoes should be left outside or in designated areas of the room.

 

During every lesson:

• Upon usage of props, student will be required to sanitise their hands before and after usage.

• As we will be doing vigorous exercise, usage of masks is optional within the classroom.

• Where possible, ventilation will be optimised by opening the door to the courtyard.

 

After every lesson:

• All students are advised to wash their hands in the washroom next door, before attending the next class.

• Junior Class: Non-HCS students will be accompanied to the gate by the teacher, where they will meet their parent.

 

New Students:

• We understand that new students and prospective students participating in the trial lesson, may want their parent to accompany them for the first lesson. Sadly, we are only able to allow one parent to accompany them to the lesson. Those accompanying students will also be required to stand outside, in the courtyard adjacent to the dance studio. Parents will only be able to attend for up to the student’s first 3 lessons.
